Nick Laborde brings clarity to chaos.

He is an HR and organizational development leader with deep experience in the startup world. Having been a 3x founder himself, his holistic view of strategic planning and sustainable business growth drives his work at Laborde Consulting. His experience includes serving as an HR Business Partner, Director of Organizational Development, and Head of People.

He holds an MBA from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, and his time in easygoing and culture-rich Cajun country instilled a life-changing perspective into his approach: work to live.

"Work is important," he says, "but if we spend 2/3 of our lives on it, we might as well enjoy it!"

His approach involves getting to the core of why an organization exists and what brings people to the table. Through his consulting and fractional HR services, he aligns organizations around their purpose, creating environments where employees thrive and making the business more successful.

With experience spanning journalism, economic development, foodservice, tech, politics and advocacy, Nick brings a rich perspective and detail-oriented approach to his work. 

He has also self-published two books, shipped world-famous New Orleans Crawfish Bread around the globe, and was previously a candidate for Louisiana's Public Service Commission, where he secured over 110,000 votes as a first-time candidate with a crystal clear message: it's all about helping people.
